As February comes to a close, my mind always turns to spring cleaning. Before I start cleaning though, I need to make sure I have got rid of any clutter. If you clean before you declutter you are spending time and energy cleaning and organizing things that you should be throwing or giving away.
Below is a list of 50 things to declutter in your home before you start to spring clean. It’s not just a spring cleaning list though, you can use it anytime you need to declutter. We’re due to move house in early April, and so I’ll be using this list to go through all of the things I need to declutter before the house move.
You’ll be amazed how much lighter you feel once you have started decluttering (if you don’t believe me then check out my article about the benefits of being organized.
If you prefer to have a printed checklist of the things to declutter to tick off as you go, then click here and I’ll send the declutter list (in pdf) straight to your inbox so you can print it at home.
